Hoseok curses under his breath as he maneuvers his car through traffic, eyes darting over to the clock on the dashboard. The music he’s listening to suddenly stops playing, a ringtone filtering through the speakers instead. He sighs and hits the button to pick up the call.
“Hoseok-ah,” Yoongi’s voice echoes through the car.
“Hyung, I’m so sorry, there was a car accident, and then there was traffic and—”
“It’s okay, love. I was actually calling to tell you that my meeting ran late, and I still have to finish one thing before I’m done, so it works out.”
Hoseok exhales in relief. “Okay, hyung. I’m about… fifteen minutes away still, is that enough time?”
“Mmm… it should be. Text me when you get here, and I’ll let you know when I’m on my way down.”
“Sounds good, I’ll see you soon.”
“See you, love you.” Yoongi murmurs.
Hoseok’s music resumes as the call drops, and Hoseok hums along as he drives the rest of the way to Yoongi’s work place. Fifteen minutes later, he pulls up and parks in front of the building.
Hoseok [18:13]
I’m here, hyung
Yoongi [18:15]
I’m almost done, give me ten mins
Hoseok [18:16]
Alright, I’ll be up front!
Hoseok turns his music back on, humming along as he scrolls through his phone while waiting for Yoongi. A knock sounds on his window a few minutes later, startling Hoseok who looks up at the noise. His surprised expression quickly softens when he sees Yoongi peering into the window, a smile growing on his own face when Hoseok presses the button to lower it.
“Hyung,” Hoseok breathes.
